Kartik Ahuja
Kartik is currently an AI Resident at IBM Research AI, IBM TJ Watson Research Center. Kartik received his PhD from UCLA’s Electrical and Computer Engineering and B.tech-M.tech dual degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
His research focuses on developing optimization, game theory, and machine learning methods. He has applied these methods to tackle problems related to resource allocation in engineering and robustness in machine learning.
More recently, Kartik has been focusing on the problem of out-of-distribution generalization in machine learning.

Kartik est actuellement résident en IA à IBM Research AI, IBM TJ Watson Research Center. Kartik a obtenu son doctorat en génie électrique et informatique de l'UCLA et un double diplôme B.tech-M.tech en génie électrique de l'Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
Ses recherches portent sur le développement de méthodes d'optimisation, de théorie des jeux et d'apprentissage automatique. Il a appliqué ces méthodes pour résoudre les problèmes liés à l'allocation des ressources en ingénierie et à la robustesse en apprentissage automatique.
Plus récemment, Kartik s'est concentré sur le problème de la généralisation hors distribution, dans l'apprentissage automatique.
